Spiritual Realization & Soul Embodiment
When we are on a path of awakening to our inner light, we find two different themes. Spiritual Realization, on one hand, and Soul Embodiment, on the other. Many use Spirit and Soul interchangeably, but they each have very different qualities. Spirit and Soul have their own unique pathway we follow, in order to actualize and make them present in our lives. Once we fully integrate these qualities of Spirit and Soul, we notice that they each contain a distinctly different, felt sense within our being.
Spirit and Soul are the two realms of spirituality. They are distinctly different and yet complementary. Either alone is incomplete. Together they form the Whole of your being. To awaken to our inner light, we must explore, develop, and embrace both of these realms within us.
The realm of Spirit ascends us upward toward the light of the great and eternal mystery that both transcends all things and is immanent in all things. This realm of Spirit helps us dis-identify from the mind so we can reclaim the inner peace and wholeness of our true nature. The realm of Spirit assists us in cultivating the blissful experience of being fully present in the moment and one with all of creation. Spirit points to what all people and all things have in common, that each is a facet of the One Great Being that contains All.
The realm of Soul leads toward the mysterious and wild core of our individual selves and into the fruitful mysteries of nature. On this half of the spiritual journey, we do not rise toward the heavens, but dive into the heart of our longing. Soul is what is most wild and natural within us. Soul asks us to embody our core powers, values, abilities, and wisdom, as they are essential to manifesting our Soul’s gift to give to the world.
Soul embraces and calls us toward what is most unique in us.
Spirit encompasses and draws us toward what is most universally shared.
Ultimately, each Soul exists as an agent for Spirit.
The journey that Soul Nature takes you on is about the harmonious alchemy of Spirit and Soul to reveal the light within, and then empowers you to embody it.
